Wedding Date: October 28, 2023
How we met: On Wednesday, Feb 27th of 2019 Patrick and I was first introduced by someone we mutually knew. At first, I wasn’t interested in being in a relationship because I was focusing on my career. However, the story took a little twist days later because we begin to send short and brief messages to each other on Facebook. On the fourth day of our conversations, Patrick asked for my phone number and we started talking from morning to night. One week later after talking on the phone we arranged to meet each other in person at Sonic before I went to work that night. I was so nervous when we first saw each other but Patrick’s warm-hearted spirit put all my nerves at ease, not to mention he smelled so good and looked so handsome.
The Proposal: On Christmas Day of 2022 with both of our families gathered around Patrick popped the question of asking me to Marry Him and I immediately said Yes. What we remembered mostly about that day is that fact that enough thought was put into consideration to include both of our families on this special day. The Proposal was so sentimental because Patrick had everything planned out and he had my sisters to partake in the surprise. I remembered finishing Christmas dinner and sitting around the house and out of nowhere one of my sisters said let’s go to Starbucks, and I looked at her and was like why right now, but she kept insisting we go ahead and leave so we did. Once we got back home, I got out the car and heard this loud music playing inside the house and once I entered, I saw Patrick down on one knee and both of our families gathered around. I was totally caught off guard because I first didn’t see any cars to explain how everyone got there and secondly, I didn’t expect him to be able to surprise me in such a way.
What I love about Patrick is that he has the greatest personality and has a lot of patience. He really values family and will do anything for them. He is compassionate and a great Protector.
What I love about Sherette is her pretty dimples when she smiles. She lights up the room with her personality and character. She is very intelligent and very preserve. One of the things I adore about her is she too values family.
What we love doing together is going for nice rides on the Motorcycle while the wind is blowing in our face and just simply being in each other’s company.
