Victoria and Desmond will celebrate 3 years together on November 23rd. They were coworkers at a plant in Sumter SC, they both worked the same shift but different departments. They would see each other everyday in passing where the attraction started.
Victoria said she thought he was handsome and Desmond said he thought she had a beautiful personality.
Then one day Desmond decided to stop and ask Victoria for her phone number. Then after talking on the phone for hours every night he decided to ask her out for a dinner & movie. They had an instant connection and one thing led to another. Some like to say their eyes met and the rest was history.

Where did he pop the question?
Desmond popped the question at my mothers house where I was raised on April 24, 2021.
What do you remember about this day?
Desmond said he was nervous and anxious at the same time. Victoria said she was in shock and really couldn’t believe that this was actually happening. She was so happy.
Tell us about the proposal?
Desmond and my mother had this plan out already. I didn’t have a clue what was going on. Mother called me asking me to have a girls pampering day. She said let’s go get our nails done and I’m treating you. When my mother tells me she’s paying for something, yes I will go. “Victoria laughs”. I wasn’t thinking she was up to something. When we were getting our nails done. Mother says on Saturday I need for you and Desmond to come to my house for a family meeting. I said of course we will be there.
When we arrived at my mother’s house on that Saturday everyone was there. When we got in the house I said bae you going to sit down? Desmond said no but you can, so when I sit down. Desmond started telling my family how he felt about me and grabbed my hand. I stood up and he got on one knee asking me to marry him.
What do you love about each other?
Desmond said that Victoria is always there for me. She is a good listener, and she always has the right words of encouragement for me.
Victoria said Desmond will do anything for me, and I trust him with my life. I feel safe sharing all my secrets with him.
What do you like to do together? We love watching different TV shows, going to dinners and movies. And most of all just spending time together.
