Wedding Date: June 22nd, 2024
Where did you meet?
He came to visit one of his relatives, who had plans to set him up with someone. As I walked in, he turned towards me with a friendly smile and introduced himself.
Greg asked my name and if I was married. Then, he asked for my phone number, and the rest is history. We met at my job. He popped the question on April 1, 2023, at Landry’s Seafood, Broadway at the Beach.
Sheritta said, “He had made plans to take me and my girls out for dinner as we always did, but the day felt different. I thought he was up to something, but I didn’t know what.” What I remember most about that day is the overwhelming joy and excitement. The weather was perfect, and we had a lovely dinner with delicious seafood. The atmosphere was magical, with the lights reflecting off the water and the sounds of laughter and music in the background. When Greg got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, it felt like time stood still. It was truly a moment I’ll never forget.
Greg said it was supposed to be a surprise. I had her family come out, I remember the smile on her face when I asked, and she said yes.
What do you love about each other?
Sheritta says “I love his selflessness; I love that he shows in many ways. I love that Gregg is consistent and he always includes my girls in everything. When he came into my life, he was all in from the start. He didn’t only focus on me. He included my children as well.
Greg says “I love her smile, generosity, caring heart and when you look at me, I feel like butter. And I can’t leave out her smile and laughter.
What do you like to do together? Sheritta likes going on dates, concerts, and the movies. I just love being with him. He makes my day, week, and month. Greg says I love the quality time we spend together.
