It all began in the parking lot of Dudley’s Sports Bar and Grill in Lithonia, GA. On a night meant for celebration, Annette and her sister ventured out to kick off Annette’s birthday festivities. As they left the bar, a random guy approached her sister, trying to strike up a conversation. Meanwhile, Quintauris walked past Annette, and their eyes met. With a bold remark, Annette challenged him to say something if he was going to stare. Eventually, he did, revealing that he wasn’t even at the bar but was searching for his friend, who happened to be at Annette’s car.
Fast forward to June 1, 2024, a day that changed everything. In the comfort of their kitchen at home, Quintauris popped the question. Annette recalls feeling puzzled as everyone seemed to keep her away from helping with preparations, while Quintauris was overwhelmed with anxiety. The proposal was a masterful surprise, especially for someone as nosey as Annette, who had sensed something was amiss but didn’t expect a proposal.
What they love about each other is simple yet profound. Quintauris admires Annette’s vibrant personality, while Annette is captivated by Quintauris’s eyes, his charming lisp, and his infectious laugh.
