Couple: Sammy & Xavier Milton
How we met: When having good friends, they want the best for you…even finding love. True friends help start the love story of Sammy and Xavier. They met through mutual friends who thought they would be a good match. After several dates, they started planning the rest of their lives together.
What do you love about each other? Sammy expressed that he loved how Xavier actively listens to him and her beauty that shines out. Xavier loves Sammy’s drive, which he never gives up on anything, hard worker and let’s not forget…handsome.
What do you like to do together? We like going out eat, traveling, spending quality time together and going to football games.
The Proposal: On February 15, 2020, Sammy and Xavier were driving to Myrtle Beach to enjoy a dinner at California Dreaming. Sammy remembered, Xavier started an argument about nothing, and he slept the entire way to the restaurant. Xavier recalls why she was upset, “It was because he had to work on Valentine’s Day and that they had to celebrate the day after.”
We arrived at California Dreaming and Sammy asked me to sit down while he checks on our table. While I’m waiting, I notice him talking to the staff, walking back and forth. I couldn’t figure out what was going on with him. Finally, the waitress walked us to our table, which was filled with stuff animals and balloons. I’m looking around to see if any other tables are decorated but it was just ours. We sat down, enjoying the moment and ordered our drinks. When the waitress arrived with my drink, the ring was tied around the glass. Sammy expressed his feelings to me and asked me to be is wife. And of course, I proudly said, YES.
